Jacob's Ladder

Jacob’s Ladder is a fascinating and absorbing Victorian toy with an interesting history. Known as ‘Magic Tablets’ by the Spanish and apparently highly favoured by Puritans as a quiet toy with biblical connections! It’s an amazing contraption made of slats of wood bound cleverly together with ribbons. It’s movements seem impossible to the eye.

Measures about 2" x 2" x 2.5" when folded (5 x 5 x 7cm) and about 12" long when fully extended (30cm).
